James Coffman, ASLA, is a registered Arizona landscape architect whose experience mixes 30+ years of private and public sector planning and landscape architecture work with 9+ years of teaching at Arizona State University. James is a co-author of the Equestrian Design Guidebook for Trails, Trailheads, and Campgrounds, published in 2007.  He has been and continues as the primary trail and pedestrian planner on over a dozen community/regional master plans in Arizona garnering recognition from the Arizona Planning Association. Other multi-modal planning and design work includes a Complete Streets Guide along with designs, pedestrian design guidelines, and design and construction oversight for urban trails.  James also works with custom residential design including the Pond House that received the highest award for residential design in 2008 from the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (AzASLA). He was named the 2012 Arizona Landscape Architect of the Year from AzASLA, and Educator of the Year 2014, of which he is currently the Trustee and is a past President. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Management and Administration from Indiana University and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University.

Scott's first carrer was a Structural Steel & Sheet Metal Detailer. Wanting a more creative outlet for his talents, obtained his Landscape Architecture degree from Arizona State University (ASU), graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1991. Scott's 20+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture including designing landscape enhancements for public and private open spaces parks, multi-use trails, bike and pedestrian corridors, public facilities, commercials sites, schools, homes, condominium and apartment developments and office complexes. He has designed streetscapes and the replanting of natural desert and riparian areas. Scott is skilled in the entire scope of the landscape design process from hand-drawn concepts to computer generated construction documents. He has prepared specifications, cost estimates, color renderings, presentation drawings, and participated in public meetings and presentations. Scott is a very organized, efficient self-starter, comfortable with carrying a project on his own or with a team. He has worked as a project manager and been responsible for supervising, training and mentoring others.

Justin graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture program at Arizona State University (ASU) in 2014 but has already had experience with award winning projects including the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show (2013+2014), and participation in the ASU sponsored design/build competition; X-square. His background of construction and management helps to bring a grounded approach to his designs and a comfortable ease to helping in the field and understanding and overcoming obstacles. His work experience includes residential design, cost estimation, path+trail planning, construction documents, website design/build along with other skills.

Mariah is currently going into her 3rd year of the Bachelors of Science Landscape Architecture program at Arizona State University.  Her love for exploring nature and growing up in New Mexico has taught her how to find the beauty in the Landscape. With a diverse background in agriculture and art, her design work shows as both functional and practical with a clear vision and a high attention to detail. In her own time she enjoys drawing, painting, camping and hiking which helps to keep her in-tune with Landscape Design.
